If you’re new(er) to crystals and wondering, I got these crystals, but now, what do I do with them? No worries, I’ve got you covered! Your journey with crystals is yours and yours alone, but keep reading for 5 easy ways to incorporate crystals into your everyday life.
1. Wear as Jewelry
One of the easiest ways to incorporate crystals into your everyday life is to wear them as jewelry. This is a wonderful way to keep your crystal’s energy close to you and to energetically inspire feelings of courage, peace, love, protection, etc. It is also a beautiful way to always carry your crystals with you. Black Tourmaline, worn as a necklace or bracelet, is great for protection. Lepidolite is an excellent choice if you know that you have an especially stressful day ahead.
2. Carry as pocket stones
Carrying stones with you is a way to further connect with your stones, providing an opportunity for your energy to align and feel the stone’s energy throughout the day. I love to carry a few stones with me everywhere I go. Whether it’s a soothing worry stone in my pocket, or a few stones for good luck, protection, creativity or focus, I almost always have a few stones with me in my purse, pocket or bra (no judgment, right?) 🙈
3. Use as home decorI love to keep stones around the house. Not only do they look beautiful, but they can bring good energy to your space. Selenite (Satin Spar) is energy cleansing and purifying, and is a great stone to place near or above doorways/entryways to cleanse the energy entering/exiting your home. Black Tourmaline is a stone of protection, and a great addition to any room. Some people believe you have to have a large statement piece to use crystals as home decor, but this simply is not true! Placing just a few of your favorite small stones in a bowl or abalone shell can elevate the energy in the room. You can add a small tower to a shelf or mantel, or even Agate bookends (functional + beautiful = WIN!). The opportunities to decorate with crystals are endless. Just do what feels right for you and your space.
4. Meditate with them
You don’t have to be a master meditator to incorporate crystals into your practice. Before you start your meditation, choose a stone to work with for the day or week. Place it in your left (receiving energy) hand. Not sure what stone to choose? Clear, Rose Quartz or Amethyst are all good choices (or try our Meditation Stones pack). Remember that meditation is not a one-and-done. Instead, it’s something that you continue to practice. Just 5-10 minutes in the morning can be highly impactful.
5. Sleep with them
At the end of a long day, it can sometimes be difficult to shut your mind off. Sleeping with crystals that have a gentle vibration and calming energy, whether on the nightstand or tucked under your pillow, can be helpful. A few suggestions include Amethyst, Howlite and/or Lepidolite.
-
Amethyst’s calm, balancing vibrations soothe stress and anxiety, allowing you to fall asleep.
- Howlite calms the stress and anxiety that keeps you awake and helps you understand things from a place of deeper consciousness.
-
Lepidolite calms stress and anxiety, but also protects against electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) – aka sleep disruptors such as the blue light from your cell phone, tv, and computer.
These are just a few almost effortless ways to include crystals as part of my daily routine. What are your favorite ways to work with your crystals every day? I’d love to hear in the comments!
